Two of the wisest investments we've made recently: a bouncy chair (RMB 340 at Di Yi Babaiban), and a balloon attached to a slapper wristband (RMB 27 at the Westgate Mall Isetan).
She just sits there and has conversations with the balloon.

Very cute! She looks very content and happy.
Our daughter still loves her bouncer seat. It is very handy when you need to her down for a few minutes to do something else and she just likes to sit there.
We just picked up a Fisher-Price Jumperoo. It's basically a seat attached to three elastic straps that allows the baby to jump up and down on her toes while playing with toys all around her.
The Bumbo seat (http://www.bumboseat.com/) is great too, but too expensive. $40 US for a plastic seat. You can find a nice knock-off for less. This is something else we found that the baby likes, but it's only good until the baby reaches about 17 pounds. After that the seat gets too tight.
